Berthine Crèvecoeur West, MA, EMBA, CDE®,  believes the power of knowledge is transformational. She founded Westbridge Solutions on the core competencies of planning and organization, cultural awareness, and collaborative working. Berthine received both her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees from St. John’s University in Jamaica, NY. Berthine has also received her Executive Master of Business Administration degree from Quantic School of Business & Technology, as well as her Certified Diversity Executive (CDE)® credential from The Institute for Diversity Certification (which indicates excellence in Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) leadership, and proven abilities to manage EDI at the board, staff, customer, and supply chain levels). The credential also challenges executives to align EDI with organizational goals, as well as progress beyond diverse representation towards thought leadership.

Prior to becoming the CEO of Westbridge Solutions, LLC, Berthine worked in the corporate and healthcare sectors as a multilingual professional. Her passion for learning and sharing knowledge with others led to her role as a trainer and public speaker. Berthine was also able to grow her language and cultural competence skills while working with prominent organizations throughout the United States and abroad.

As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in interpersonal and professional communication, she shares her expertise with major corporations, non-profit organizations, government agencies, educational institutions, and individuals around the world. Berthine has been featured on both domestic and international media outlets. She is the author of three books, Culture Incorporated: An Innovative Approach to Cultural Competence Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace, Global Fluency: 50 Tips on Creating a Culturally Competent and Inclusive Professional Environment and The Healthcare Trifecta: Conversations on the Intersectionality of Language, Illness and Culture. Berthine is also the host of The Global Fluency Podcast and Editor-in-Chief of Global Fluency Magazine.

Berthine’s passion is engaging with audiences to find out how they can unleash the real power of their relationships for improved performance at work, home and community. Her commitment to creating authentic relationships continue to drive her towards positive cultural change on a global scale.
